As we celebrate American Education Week, we're paying it forward by offering two needs-based scholarships to support current and future educators.
- WGU Loves Teachers Scholarship–For new and existing teachers, and school and district administration staff. Valued at up to $4,000, this scholarship will go a long way toward paying for a WGU degree that’s already affordable.
- Become a Teacher Scholarship–Valued at up to $4,000, this scholarship is for prospective teachers. It includes $2,500 toward tuition plus a $1,500 stipend to cover student teaching expenses when it comes time to get hands-on experience in the classroom.
These scholarships for current and prospective teachers can go a long way toward our already-affordable education-focused or CAEP- and AAQEP-accredited licensure-level degrees. Plus, our flat-rate, pay-per-term model allows you to pay tuition every six months and complete as many courses as you’re able to in that time—at no extra cost. So the more courses you can complete each term, the faster you graduate and the more money you save.

The $4,000 Become a Teacher Scholarship includes a $1,500 stipend for the demonstration teaching portion of your program.
