Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Applicants will be required to take a short, online admissions test that helps determine likelihood of success in a WGU online program.

Meeting the NCLB Requirements
School paraprofessionals (teachers' aides) who complete the A.A. degree will meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. The A.A. will also help clear some of the academic requirements for those who want to eventually become certified classroom teachers. Speak to an Enrollment Counselor to learn more.
The A.A. degree will clear many of the requirements for the B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (PK-8), which is WGU's degree program for elementary educators.
