Basic Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess and submit an official transcript verifying receipt of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Applicants will be required to take an online admissions test that helps determine the likelihood of success in a WGU program. There may be additional state-specific requirements that you must meet before you begin Demonstration Teaching (student teaching). These may include a state-specific basic skills test, for example. (Registering and paying for the test is the student's responsibility). Other state requirements may apply. If you are planning to eventually enroll in a WGU program leading to licensure, you should review the Admissions requirements. An Enrollment Counselor can help you understand what is required for you. More info about Admissions.
