Keith Smith has strategic leadership experience in the business, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. His 25-year career in higher education includes holding faculty, dean, vice-provost, and vice-president positions, inclusive of four universities prior to coming to WGU: City University, National-Louis University, National University of Health Sciences, and Purdue University Global. He has taught courses and presented domestically and internationally on leadership and organizational change, and supervised management programs in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Keith has played a lead role in both regional and multiple programmatic accreditations. His teams have developed a wide spread of programs from the microcredential through doctoral levels, as well as developed partnerships with business, government, military, and community colleges across the nation. Keith is passionate about engaging people, individually and collectively, in achieving their highest potential and deep life meaning.
