Dr. Ryan Whisler joined Western Governors University in 2018 as a Course Instructor and has since served as a Program Chair for the Master’s in IT Management program before assuming the role of Lead Academic Program Manager for the Marketing and Innovation Vertical in the School of Business. In this current role, Ryan serves as the product manager for the undergraduate and graduate marketing programs. Prior to joining WGU, Ryan held leadership positions in higher education, including Vice President for Information Technology/CIO and then Chief Marketing Officer. Ryan has the heart of an educator and has invested his career in advancing the mission of providing increased access to education.
