What did you do before you started at WGU Missouri? Substance abuse counselor for teenagers.
What was your proudest moment at WGU Missouri? Any time I can help a student or coworker is a proud moment for me. I try to find those little moments every day!
What is your favorite thing about working at WGU Missouri? Forming relationships with other employees in the area and seeing students overcome obstacles.
What has surprised you most about working for WGU Missouri? How connected we can all feel even though we are all scattered around the state.
What was your first job? Detasseling corn in Illinois – I am only 5’2” so it was REALLY hard!
What did you want to be when you were growing up? An Artist (I am in my spare time – I work primarily in watercolors).
What is your favorite thing to do in your downtime? Spend time with family and friends, paint, read, go to the gym and binge on a new favorite show on Netflix or Hulu.
If you could learn any skill instantly what would it be? Sign language (it is on my bucket list).
