Hometown Heroes Event
Join Us for a Night of Celebrating Cincinnati-Area Hometown Heroes!
Lace up your skates and join us for an evening of free food, fun and ice skating as we celebrate WGU’s Hometown Heroes!
Fountain Square’s ice-skating rink, in the heart of Cincinnati, is the perfect place to enjoy an evening with your family. It’s WGU’s way of saying THANKS for all you do, every day, for our communities and our country.
Are you a hometown hero? All teachers, nurses, active-duty military and veterans will receive a special swag bag, as well as some delicious snacks to give you the right amount of energy to perfect that double axel, or just to help keep you on your feet! Plus, some steaming hot chocolate will be waiting for you in the warming tent. Also, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with WGU leaders and hear from guest speakers.
Admission, including skate rental, is free. Parking is free for the first 60 people who park in the Fountain Square Garage.
