Creating Pathways: The Texas Men in Education Impactors Network

Western Governors University (WGU) is launching the Texas Men in Education Impactors Network to support expanding access, visibility, and support for men entering the teaching profession.

The Texas Men in Education Impactors Network is designed to:

  • Build intentional pathways into teaching careers
  • Support men throughout their educational journey
  • Partner with communities and schools to scale impact
  • Strengthen the educator workforce where it’s needed most

Only 23% of teachers in the U.S. are men, and in elementary schools, that number drops to just 1 in 10. The Texas Men in Education Impactors Network is focusing on reshaping the narrative and strengthening K-12 representation and beyond.

Join WGU in expanding pathways for men in education and building a more diverse teaching workforce.
