VaShonna Braxton | Senior Student Success Coach
Prior to joining the WSB Student Success Team, VaShonna held the role of Program Mentor for the BSBA Healthcare Management program. VaShonna holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She is very passionate about education and helping others achieve their educational goals.
Don Miller | Student Success Coach
Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Master’s in Media Communications with an emphasis on Media Literacy. He has 8+ years of experience as a writing coach, adjunct professor, and enrollment counselor. He is committed to guiding and assisting students through their academic journey and helping them reach and even exceed their goals.
Karina Bregu | Student Success Coach
Karina is one of the School of Business, Student Success Coaches here at WGU. Prior to that, she worked as an Enrollment Counselor for 3 years for multiple programs within Teachers College. She is a first-time graduate from college and has earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources here at WGU. She is very passionate about helping students reach their educational goals.
Laurynn Sillimon | Student Success Coach
Laurynn holds a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management. Prior to this role, she was a Program Mentor in the School of Business, specifically working with marketing students pursuing their undergraduate degrees. Laurynn is passionate about assisting students with developing strong academic skills, finding creative ways to promote academic success, and utilizing a one-on-one individualized approach to finding solutions and connecting students with resources needed to achieve their goals.
Shanice Lawrence | Student Success Coach
Shanice has over a decade of experience working with students in both private and public sectors. She has worked on teams in higher education, government, and non-profit organizations. Prior to working as a Student Success Coach, Shanice was a Program Mentor for the School of Business and the School of Technology at WGU. Shanice Lawrence holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Acting/Directing and minor in Chemistry and Master's in Public Administration with a Certification in Non-Profit Leadership & Management. In addition, Shanice is a professional singer, author, and motivational speaker. Shanice is a firm believer that every individual is created with purpose, passion, and power and, with the right support, can accomplish anything they put their minds to.
Natascha Honc | Student Success Coach
Natascha has joined WGU as a Student Success Coach, bringing extensive experience to the role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in social work and a master’s degree in educational administration earned within the Texas College System. With more than two decades of experience serving individuals with exceptional needs in the public school arena and private rehabilitation sector, Natascha also brings expertise as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Guided by her motto, “Bloom Where You Are Planted,” her diverse background reflects her dedication to helping others reach their goals and full potential.
Megan Pendley Pickett | Student Success Coach
Megan is a student-obsessed, empathetic coach, and ultimate logistical cheerleader with 20+ years of experience in Higher Education and Bootcamp learning. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with a BS in English/Professional Writing and a MA in Higher Education who is passionate about making career growth and education exciting, accessible, and achievable. Megan thrives on helping students gain valuable hands-on experiences with personalized coaching and providing motivational and academic strategies.
