About the WGU Cybersecurity Club

About the Club

The mission of WGU Cybersecurity Club is to establish a Computer Security community within the university, to provide a venue for students to improve their computer security skills, to foster strong ethics, and provide training opportunities. This club participates in a variety of collegiate, national, and international cyber security challenges and competitions. WGUCC also helps students by holding monthly meetings to discuss and practice hands-on cybersecurity concepts including, but not limited to, network security, digital forensics, penetration testing, and cryptography. Through all of this we hope to produce a security aware student body here at WGU.
