WGU Central Region Alumni Community Service Project
Indianapolis, IN
WGU will be participating in an event hosted by our valued partner, Damar Services Inc., called Elf Shopping and Wrapping. This event is an opportunity to contribute to our community by shopping for and wrapping holiday gifts for the children living in Damar’s residential communities. To participate, volunteers will sign up using the link below and arrive to Meijer in Camby, In (10509 Heartland Blvd, Camby, IN 46113) at their selected time on December 10th or 11th, and either shop for or wrap gifts. If you are interested in participating, we’d love to have you join us on Dec 11th from 3pm to 6pm when there will be some WGU staff in attendance; however, we encourage you to select the day and time that are most convenient for you.
Some things to know:
- You do not need to bring any money for donations or shopping. All costs are already taken care of by Damar.
- Shifts are 1.5 hours long.
- Family members, including children, are welcome to participate with you.
- There will be light refreshments available.
- We will be following up with WGU affiliated attendees via email after the event.

Join us for our fun and exciting Virtual 5K, the WGU Alumni Mustache Dash! Register by completing the form below, and then purchase the 5K package of your choice from the WGU Store. (Each package comes with fake mustaches, but you can also sport your own!) A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Student Emergency Aid Fund to provide non-tuition support for students facing unexpected hardships.
